Our Journey
Pro Family Insurance was founded by Carlos Frederico (“Fred”) Columa, an executive with a law degree from Mackenzie University (Rio de Janeiro) and a postgraduate degree in Marketing from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) in São Paulo.
After a solid career in Brazil’s industrial and retail sectors — especially in sales management — Fred immigrated to the United States in 2017. He went on to work in the competitive financial and insurance markets, holding roles at banks and insurance companies. With a recognized, award-winning track record, Fred launched Pro Family Insurance to simplify access to the American insurance system and put clients first.
